Amanda Langowski is the new Windows Insider team lead

Only a few weeks ago, I wrote about Windows Insider program still being without a team leader, five months after Dona Sarkar was removed from that post. But today, the wait is over: Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer at Microsoft announced today that Amanda Langowski will be the new Insider team lead:

Mr. Panay on Windows Insider blog:

Amanda’s passion for Windows is evident in her 20-year career at Microsoft, which began with coordinating beta programs for Windows. Since then, she’s been an extraordinary and dedicated product maker for the company. In meeting Amanda, one thing that is immediately apparent is her passion for customer feedback and the positive impact it can have on our products. This can be seen in her work leading the Flighting Platform Team not only coordinating the release of each new build that goes to Insiders, but also in managing our Insider settings capabilities, ultimately enabling one of the most powerful streams of customer feedback we have.

Judging by the fact that she has only 35 tweets and 219 Twitter followers as I am writing this, Amanda Langowski is a new acquaintance and mostly unknown to most of us keen Insiders.

Welcome Amanda! We Insiders hope you will learn from past mistakes in the Insider program. Also, we hope that you will keep in touch with us Insiders. With the global pandemic, it for sure is quite a difficult time for you to start leading us. I wish you all the best!
